Kings Arms Pub
Welcome to the Kings Arms the best pub in town for live music and loads of fun.

We are located in Clitheroe, a small bustling historic market town set in the heart of the Ribble Valley, Lancashire.

The Clitheroe skyline is dominated by the Norman castle keep built around 1186 by Robert De Lacy. The castle grounds include a skate park, museum, labyrinth and gardens.
Clitheroe is surrounded by open countryside and resides under the auspicious presence of Pendle Hill, famous for its part in earlier times in the 'Pendle Witches' scandal and trials, and in later times featuring in the film 'Whistle Down the Wind' starring Hayley Mills, and most recently in the television series 'Born and Bred' starring James Bolam, both of which were filmed in and around the Pendle area.

Our aim is to make your visit memorable and pleasant and offer a friendly family atmosphere, quality beer and locally sourced food and live entertainment.

Kings Arms Main Room with Dance Floor

The Kings Arms is open all day every day.

We have recently undergone a makeover of the premises inside and out, creating some changes in the pub layout, furnishings and decorations. We have kept all the traditional aspects of the pub, such as wooden ceiling beams, open fireplaces and a warm decor.
All of our customer feedback to the changes has been brilliant and very positive.

We offer live entertainment most weekends, Friday and Saturday, with local and not so local bands. Different music styles including Rock, Blues, Indy, R & B and many more.

If it’s not live then you can make your own sounds with Karaoke.

Bands who play the Kings include – ‘Freebird’, ‘The Stumble’, ‘Blues Blasters’, ‘Green Days’, ‘KickStart’, ‘Compared to What’, 'Tantrum', 'Electric Lady Boys', 'Sugarland Express', ‘The Pleasers’ to name but a few.

Check out the bands page for more details of dates and who's on.
